Demi Vollering won Stage 5 of the Tour de France Femmes after a hard hilly day in Beaujolais. She beat Marlen Reusser and Kasia Niewiadoma-Phinney in a three-rider sprint after the GC favorites split apart.
Reusser keeps the yellow jersey, but Vollering is now just 12 seconds behind. Niewiadoma-Phinney moved up to third overall as the fight for the Tour de France Femmes title gets serious.
