San Diego is a city that is interspersed with tiny wilderness corridors. One of the most unique hikes near the city's core is one that travels through Maple Canyon, city streets, and allows hikers the chances to see three historic bridges - Quince, First, and Spruce. Even more fun is the fact that the Spruce Street bridge is a suspension bridge. The route is just over 1.75 miles, and accessible to everyone year round.
