I love both of them and I think they are perfect together! Thranduil is brave like Lagertha. But he's so cold because he has some deep wounds…
In the video they met at the beginning of the war. She was a human warrior. And they fell in love.
He was away for a long time because of the war. All this time he thought of her to be strong and brave and to stay alive.
Now he returns but he's so different. He became a tough man. It's hard for him to let her see all his feelings and how much his heart is hurt after all the fights. But she stays here with him. She's strong and she never gives up. So with time he reveals himself because he loves her and he knows that she's the only reason why he wanted to stay alive.
