In today, I share some thoughts on what the new changed to the EUCD means for those of us in the free and open source software community as well as in a wider capacity.

It is a directive of the European Union enacted to implement the WIPO Copyright Treaty and to harmonise aspects of copyright law across Europe, such as copyright exceptions.
