Jamin shares his thoughts on the recent events surrounding NBA 2K14 shutting down their servers. By deactivating their servers, the campaigns of thousands of players were made inactive due to their DRM linked security feature. What does this tell us about how we should be preserving the games we love? Do we as players need to be more active? Or should it be left up to developers, or even museums like the Moma?
