I wanted to play around with one of the most generic and cheesy chord progressions, Am, F#, C, G, but with a twist, so all of the chords are 7th chord variations, and the melody and bass line contain many bluesy notes outside of the standard Am scale.
Also some variations on the chord progressions start with the C chord, essentially forming a subtle key change to C major.
An experiment in creating a warm, 80s synth style texture, focusing mostly on the progression of the chords.
