'They Said So' is a new collection of art coming soon to the new home of feisty Edmonton Gallery, Latitude 53 @latitude_53
The McLeod Block serves as the perfect stage for work from artists who share a spirit of resilience bound together through their relationship to nature. The exhibition is curated by participating artist Kyla Pascal, who sought to bring traditionally marginalized perspectives into the picture. And so, the stories of the women, queer and trans kin, nurturers, and knowledge keepers fuse an ancestral past with a truly modern perspective anchored in Métis culture.
Curator Kyla Pascal joined Tony King on Thoroughfare to reveal the string that ties this fascinating collection of work together.
