so 1st, this is for Laura's birthday. we were watching the Maze Runner series as a group, and she said something about loving Thomas & Minho (also I wanted to add more of them for you I planned on it, but at the same time I feel like the hug was just enough I wanted that to be like the biggest thing in this edit. so I heard the song, and I was like, yes, that's the song for my homies edit 😅🤣 even though this turned into more of a Thomas edit.
the motion blur on the entire edit was a choice. I thought it added a certain aesthetic to the overall vibe i was going for, which is all the shit Thomas went through. also, I kinda got lost with the Thomas/Newt friendship at a point where I had to stop myself from adding so much of them after i started too. 😅🤣 oh, one more thing the scene where everyone is sitting by the fire is basically to pay a small tribute to Winston the same with Thomas is no voice over that was for Theresa because I know you said you didn't like them as a couple, but I still wanted to pay a tribute to her as well. because this is not fully Thomas's story, but that's what I wanted, and everyone else's character played a role in his life now that makes me think I shouldn't have cut the scene of the hug short and I should have shown gorge and Brenda but I'm not about to rerender so hope you all like this especially you Laura.
