All the way back in 1984 on this exact date, the world was introduced to a small blue cheeky tank engine with 6 small wheels, a short stumpy funnel, boiler and dome and wears the Number 1 with pride. Today he and all his friends celebrate 40 years of Making Tracks to Great Destinations, and look back on all the adventures they've had over the years. I am of course talking about....THOMAS THE TANK ENGINE!!!!
I still find it out so hard to believe that this TV Series is now officially 40 years old, that is such a big achievement!!! And despite all the changes it's had along the way, this franchise is still truly loved by people all over the world, Thomas the Tank Engine is such a wonderful franchise for people of all ages. I can still remember when I was first introduced to this tank engine, and since then I've truly grown to love it so much, from watching on Television to collecting DVDs internationally.
So to celebrate 40 years of Thomas the Tank Engine, I'd like to present a small special video where I look back at the very first season and rank all 26 episodes, may not be a huge video but it's my tribute to a show that's very important to me. I hope you enjoy it and feel free to share your thoughts on Season 1 down below and...HAPPY 40TH ANNIVERSARY THOMAS THE TANK ENGINE!!!
