Arguing for establishment of a Health Impact Fund that would give pharmaceutical innovators the option to accept annual rewards based on the health impact of their new product in exchange for marketing it at cost of production and distribution. This Fund would spur additional R&D against diseases that impose large burdens mainly upon poor populations.
The presentation is followed by discussion with Dr. Gary Gottlieb (Harvard University and Partners in Health), Jami Taylor (Protagonist Therapeutics) and seminar participants.
