In 1991, the true first Thomas special aired, a crossover entitled Thomas and the U.K. Trip, featuring characters from the Japanese show, 'Hirake! Ponkikki'. Because this special was only aired exclusively in Japan, there is no English dub for both the UK and the US making it one of the only pieces of Thomas & Friends media not to be dubbed in English... until now!
