THIS WAY: A Houston Group Show participating artists Berlin and Charonda Johnson join together in conversation along with poet Avalon Hogans and The Reading Room’s founder and THIS WAY artist, Amarie Gipson.

The discussion explores each artist’s research and contribution to the exhibition along with a broader reflection on the past, present, and future legacy of Houston Freedmen’s Town.

This program is presented in conjunction with the exhibition THIS WAY: A Houston Group Show curated by Mich Stevenson Project Manager – Partnerships, Contemporary Arts Museum Houston and Houston Freedmen’s Town Conservancy.
