Conducting menopause experiments on marmosets, who don’t even experience menopause, has cost U.S. taxpayers millions of dollars, yet the University of Massachusetts–Amherst is still tormenting these sensitive animals. These experiments include surgically removing the ovaries of female monkeys and drilling into their skulls to implant electrodes in their brains. This suffering has yielded zero results for humans or animals.
