My first night alone in my new house was NOT how I expected it to go…
After finally buying my 100-year-old house and starting this huge home renovation journey, it was time to spend my first proper night alone in my new house with Ava. I thought my first night alone would be cosy: reading, settling into the house, making it feel like home and getting used to living alone.
Instead, my first night alone in my new house quickly went wrong when Ava became unwell. After she continued being sick, what started as a cosy new house vlog turned into an emotional trip to the vet, an X-ray and me fearing the worst.
Thankfully, things weren’t as bad as I feared, but this definitely wasn’t how I imagined my first night alone in my new house!
Alongside the drama, I’m continuing to settle into my new home, clean up the house, tackle the realities of owning a 100-year-old house and slowly turn this empty house into my dream home.
