Strapping pallets might look like a simple warehouse task, but doing it repeatedly can mean tens of thousands of bend-overs for a single worker every year.
ErgoPack developed a different approach. Its patented ChainLance system automatically guides the strap underneath and around the pallet, allowing the operator to remain standing instead of repeatedly bending down or walking around the load.
The technology dates back to 1999, and today's systems combine that ergonomic approach with much faster pallet strapping. According to the company, a pallet that can take around two minutes to strap conventionally can be completed in under 40 seconds with its system.
