Just in case you thought the Victorians were prudes, this late Victorian or early Edwardian corset ad proves otherwise! I love this Warner Bros corsets ad from 1901 so much that I bought a physical copy to frame and hang on my wall. This has got to be one of my favorite fashion historian moments ever, and why dress history fascinates me so much. Tell me, do you think a modern publication could get away with printing this as easily?
