The DJI Mic Series Mobile Receiver is here, but it solves a problem DJI created themselves (with the DJI Mic Mini Receiver).
On paper, the original DJI Mic Mini Receiver works perfectly. Great audio, reliable connection, no real issues. But once you start using it with your phone, especially in real-world situations (as connecting a DJI mic to your phone via bluetooth, doesn't sound particularly good), that’s where things start to feel a bit off.
So DJI made this (the Mic Series Mobile Receiver).
In this video, I put both receivers to the test using the DJI Mic Mini, paired with the iPhone 17 Pro, and used them exactly how I film my content with the DJI Neo 2 and the DJI Fly app.
No specs. No guesswork. Just real-world use.
I'll show you, whether there’s any difference in sound quality, what actually changes when you switch and whether this is something you need or just something that looks better
