Producers, Evolve Dark Matter is the latest entry in the Excite Audio’s Evolve series - and it is almost certainly my favourite from them so far.
I think this instrument can be described in 5 words: Heavy, Ominous, Modern, Cinematic, and Experimental
We have done deep dives into the Evolve series on the channel already, but the tl:dr is that it is a 4-layer sound engine which allows you to Blend and morph four sound sources.
And before you ask, yes you can import your own samples! There are also 4 hand-crafted custom macro FX for easy sound design.
While I think the low-end darkness is where this instrument excels, these bells, keys, pads and leads are just filled with texture and character
