This Strange Double-Lure Rig Is Catching More Fish Than Ever!
This strange-looking double-lure rig is absolutely crushing it right now, and it’s quickly becoming one of my go-to setups for both inshore and freshwater fishing. In today’s video, I’ll walk you through everything you need to know about how to rig it, why it works so well, and when to use it for maximum hookups.
The rig is simple but deadly effective:
Soft plastic fluke as the lure
20lb fluorocarbon leader for stealth and strength
Twistlock worm hook for perfect bait presentation
80lb Spro swivel to keep everything tangle-free and running straight
Why does this rig work? The double-lure action mimics a pair of baitfish darting together, which absolutely triggers predatory instincts in snook, redfish, bass, and nearly any other species chasing bait. With the added flash and vibration from the swivel setup, you get a presentation that’s different from what most anglers are throwing — and that’s why the fish can’t resist it.
