I've seen quite a few comments suggesting I play Sniper Ghost Contract Warriors 2, so I decided to give it a go and boy am I glad I did. Thank you for those suggestions, I've been really, really enjoying it. It's quite hard to find a good FPS singleplayer game, so this was very refreshing.
