I’ve never used smart bulbs in my recessed kitchen lights… until now. In this video, I’m testing the Linkind Aura Matter BR30 Smart Bulb, a stretchable BR30 bulb designed to better fit 5–6 inch recessed cans while adding features like Matter support, Adaptive Lighting, 4 color zones, music sync, and adjustable white temperature.
These bulbs are definitely unique, but they’re not perfect. I’ll show you how they install, how the stretchable design works, how they look in real recessed lighting fixtures, what you can control through the Linkind/AiDot app, what actually works through Matter and Apple Home, and the main pros and cons after using them in my kitchen.
