Think of your online store like a funnel where visitors enter at the top and customers come out at the bottom. Somewhere along that journey, potential buyers are dropping off, and your main job is to find exactly where that biggest leak is happening so you can fix it and boost your sales.
To identify where people are dropping off in the buying process, navigate to the Analytics section in your Shopify dashboard and select Reports. Filter the category by Behavior and open the Conversion Rate Breakdown report. In the right-hand corner, you will find a chart detailing sessions, cart additions, reached checkouts, and completed purchases to pinpoint your exact drop-off points.
