** Join us riding the world on two motorcycles on the trip of a lifetime.
We're currently riding through scenic Portugal over extremely hilly and in many cases unprotected narrow roads. Experience the journey from a biker POV riding a motorcycle, navigating tight winding roads with multiple hairpins, and high mountainous landscapes.
This video captures the essence of what a motorcycle road trip should be, showcasing our 2025 BMW F800GS motorcycles fully equipped for safety and long journeys.
This route is unforgiving yet unfortgetable. If you're up for the challenge this is the route:
* We left from Hotel Santa Margarida in Oleiros
* Take the N238 to the junction with the CM1190
* There is a left turn which takes the CM1190 to Pizoria - do not take it, continue straight
* Take a tight right hairpin on to the M527
* Take the bridge over the Rio Zezere, there is a very steep village road in front of you, ride up it
* Turn right (without stopping) at the top on to the R. Central, take the uphill left cobble at the fork
* Follow the road around and prepare for a sharp left turnout on to the R112/N112
* At Restaurante Nascer do Sol take the sharp right on to the N344
* There is an un-numbered 45 degree downhill sharp left road down to the dam BUT.....
* Continue on a little further and there is a viewpoint looking down on to the top of the twin dam walls
* Turn around here & go back to the slip road and descend through a number of hairpins
* You will end up at the bottom of the Santa Luzia Dam with an option to pull off on the left to explore
* Continue up the other side of the ravine taking a 45 degree right on to the M547
* After a series of tight turns turn off on to the R. Cesar Vicente da Silva towards Fajao
* Before Fajao there is a right going to Ponte de Fajao and the sharp S (Rua do Vake Portelo)
* End of the village turn left on to the Largo Ze da Carris
* Climb out to re-join the N344 to Coja
From Coja there are a number of options, roads and destinations to choose from .....
To tbe honest there are SO MANY spectacular roads around this area including the N2 any rider could spend a week riding and documenting some spectacular routes. ENJOY.
