The Caline Mariana is a multi-mode reverb pedal from Caline Effects, promising seven distinct reverb and modulation circuits in a single compact unit — from deep cavern ambience to pitch-shifting modulated reverb. IS IT WORTH IT?
The Caline Mariana is cheap — and it shows. Most of the seven modes share the same underlying reverb circuit with different modulation layers on top, and the lack of a dedicated wet/dry mix knob on the majority of modes is a genuine usability problem. The Propeller is the one mode that actually delivers on its description — a usable tremolo-reverb combination with proper, functional controls. The Kraken mode has a documented firmware issue where one control does not behave as labelled. If you hear a specific sound in here that fits your playing, this reverb guitar pedal costs almost nothing to try. As a complete multi-reverb pedal, though, it feels unfinished.
