We need to talk about one of Disney World’s most iconic restaurants: Chef Mickey’s 🐭🧑🍳🔥
This spot has a BIG reputation, and it’s truly a Disney World rite of passage! It’s loud, it’s lively, you get to meet the Fab Five, and while the food has had its ups and downs over the years, it’s definitely improved!
There were definitely some surprises on the buffet! The corn dog nuggets, mac & cheese, shrimp cocktail, watermelon salad, and pork dumplings were some of the standouts. Plus, the NEW Donald Duck Cream Puff was a must-try. 🍽️
But not everything hit… we’d skip the Goofy cupcake, Daisy Cookies & Cream Mousse, and the cheeseburger sliders from the kids’ buffet.
Even though Chef Mickey’s can be a little inconsistent, we had a really enjoyable meal on this visit! And at the end of the day, the real star of this dining experience is getting to meet the characters.
