Commonplace books have been a key tool for philosophers and thinkers of all kinds going all the way back to Greek philosophers like Aristotle. In this video I cover a brief sketch of the history of commonplace books and then I show you how you can keep a pocket notebook as a commonplace book of pocket proverbs and wise sayings.
