These Modern Ruins Tell a story, but fire almost wiped it out... Twice!
West Virginia is known for many things including the railroad, the mountains, the spread out landscape, but also its industries. One such industry was the producer of lumber which was needed in nearly all aspects of life back in the old days. The way the lumber was created was from lumber mills and the one we're checking out today still survives, but just barely. Also joining me is @mattPG78, so check out his channel for his look at this place.
The Cass Lumber mill has had it's shares of highs and lows, but it was a major producer of lumber and although it's been closed for several decades, it's certainly not forgotten. Come along and take a look at what remains of this old historic lumber mill.
