Yen ta fo, a must-try if you see one in Thailand! Typically paired with various fish cakes, it's a common Thai street food that is such a hidden gem.

The pink sauce gives it a spicy and sour flavour, which makes the broth more interesting than the plain version. Traditionally, the pink colour comes from fermented red bean curd (tao hu yee), but nowadays most shops try to make it brighter with food colouring. Some shops skip the red bean curd altogether!

My recipe shows you how to make the pink sauce with no food colouring, with that signature flavour of red bean curd!
