Persona has many games, several of them unfortunately being lost media. Persona: The Anomalous Tower was one of those games until 2023, and the game is VERY undocumented. In this video I tell you everything there is to know about this unknown title.

"Megami Ibunroku Persona: Ikuu no Tou Hen (女神異聞録ペルソナ 異空の塔編, Alternate Goddess Tale Persona: Otherworld Tower Chapter) is an RPG developed by Atlus and Bbmf Co Ltd. for mobile phones, specifically the high-end feature phones of the time. Its title when first announced was Megami Ibunroku Persona Gaiden: Ikuu no Tou (女神異聞録ペルソナ外伝 異空の塔).
A port to the Nintendo Switch and Steam as part of G-Mode Archives+ was announced on August 28th, 2023. The Nintendo Switch version was released on September 14th (decided on September 11th,) while the Steam version was released on September 29th (confirmed following the release of the Nintendo Switch version.)
After the battle in the SEBEC building, the DEVA System transports the protagonist's party into a parallel world. The protagonist, Maki Sonomura and Masao Inaba awaken to discover they've been separated from the others. However, Igor and the Velvet Room are connected to this space, as well. According to Igor, in order to escape this alternate dimension, they will need to gather 9 orbs throughout the tower, find their companions and travel to the top of the tower to operate the space transition device. They encounter a girl named Maria who is also trying to escape using the device at the top of the tower. Throughout the tower they find all the other Persona users and some demons mention that there is a demon known as the Destroyer locked in the tower. However, at the top, Maria reveals that she is the Destroyer. She has become bored with the tower and wants to go cause destruction in the human world. However, each persona can only use one orb, so she needed 9 people to activate the orbs for her. After she is stopped the cast use the device to escape and return. The screen goes black and a "To be continued" screen appears, as the story now continues in Persona 1."
