My PDP-11 story is a weird one. I found myself with too many PDPs, so I had to thin the herd, which left me without a running PDP-11. The goal for today was to fix that by bringing up a PDP-11/23, but the power supply had other plans. After a full week of troubleshooting, I emerged from the room defeated. But just what went wrong? Well, let’s dive in and find out!
