In this video, I travel to the beautiful Derbyshire town of Wirksworth to visit Collector's Corner, an incredible independent comic shop run by owner Ian.
Collector's Corner may be small in size, but it's packed with character, vintage comics, Doctor Who memorabilia, key issues, hidden gems and over 80 years of comic book history. During my visit, Ian gives us a tour of the shop, shows off some fascinating books from his wall display, including a Terry Toons comic from 1943, and talks about the realities of running a one man comic shop in rural Derbyshire.
If you love comic book collecting, comic shop tours, vintage comics, key issues, Marvel, DC, Doctor Who and supporting independent businesses, you're going to enjoy this one.
