This is the world's first 27-inch 4K 120Hz inkjet-printed OLED monitor, featuring an RGB-stripe OLED panel from TCL CSOT.

But why print OLED using ink? I take a closer look at MSI's new PRO MAX 271UPJW12, and explain how inkjet printing could improve material efficiency, enable a conventional RGB-stripe subpixel layout, and potentially pave the way for more affordable OLED displays.

The MSI PRO MAX 271UPJW12 is expected to enter mass production in September, with retail availability targeted for early 2027 at โ‚ฌ699.

The "Includes Paid Promotion" label in this video refers to the sponsorship by MSI.
