Blizzard released another hotfix for the new StarCraft 2 balance patch, mostly buffing Protoss and Terran to deal with a Zerg-dominant meta. But the Terran changes, specifically the Command Center cost reduction from 400 to 300 minerals, might actually be doing the opposite of what patch 5.0.16 was originally supposed to do. 5.0.16 was designed to increase early game variety. These changes are likely reducing it. My thoughts on all the changes.
