Back in 2012, Locomalito released Maldita Castilla on PC—a brilliant arcade‑style platformer, that paid tribute to Ghosts ’n Goblins and other classics, drawing heavily from medieval art, real historical locations, and the legendary chivalric tale Amadis of Gaul. It quickly became one of the finest retro‑inspired games.
Now, for anyone who loved i, there’s something special on the horizon: PlayOnRetro has announced a demo for the upcoming Sega Mega Drive version—and it looks like a full boxed edition is in the works too.
