Well Dweller is a 2026 dark fairy tale Metroidvania indie game developed by Kyle Thompson for PC and Nintendo Switch. Players control Glimmer, a tiny bird armed with a matchstick, on a quest to defeat a wicked queen and rescue his kidnapped family.

The gameplay focuses on exploring a rotted kingdom, fighting beasts, solving puzzles, and finding upgrades to unlock new areas. Built by the creator of Islets and Crypt Custodian, the action adventure title features customizable abilities, platforming challenges, and a unique cast of characters.
