The Princess Bride ended up being cheesier than I expected, but somehow that’s part of what makes it so charming. Between Westley fighting a giant rat while I’m begging Buttercup to DO SOMETHING, the battle of wits, and all the ridiculous moments in between, this movie was such a fun watch.
Here’s my full reaction to The Princess Bride (1987). It’s funny, cute, romantic, weird in the best way, and overall I really enjoyed it.
