Brendan Taaffe is a Vermont-based singer, composer, and multi-instrumentalist. Since 2005, he has been leading harmony singing workshops throughout Europe and North America and playing traditional dance music on fiddle, banjo, and guitar. He directs the Bright Wings Chorus, performs with The Waxwing Four, and is a crankie artist. Brendan has also studied mbira in Zimbabwe with master players there, and has blended mbira with Appalachian traditional ballads on his 2013 album Can’t Hold The Wheel.
