The Cubic Chunks mod is absolutely amazing. It can make a Minecraft world infinite on the y-axis. With infinite render distance, it can create one of the craziest experiences.

Credit to Kylaxian for the Cubic Chunks & Far Planes mod gameplay (I had an issue with running the mods on my PC, so his gameplay was really helpful).
