Tonight we’re watching and comparing two versions of Disney’s wildest runaway mine train adventure — Big Thunder Mountain Railroad from Disneyland Paris and Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars from Shanghai Disneyland. Both rides share the spirit of the classic frontier coaster, but each park took the idea in a very different direction. As we watch the POV ride-throughs, we’ll talk about the ride systems, theming, story differences, and all the little details that make each version unique.
