Now I said I was going to redo some of my older songs aka covers older than 3 years, and I'm not going to lie this song was number 1
on the list of priorities. I absolutely love this song, however looking back I do realize my original cover was.... wow it was bad.
I was constantly off tune held notes and really hated some of my lyrics. So once I made the decision to finally take it down and redo it, the first thing I did besides letting the new's out was look at the lyrics.
I kept a lot of it the same but they really needed some smoothing out, as they had quite a bit of stilted-nes that needed to be addressed. I waited for a bit then once I had my lyrics fixed I took
the original down. Listening to it a bit more to figure out how to
improve my singing.
Fixing the lyrics helped make the singing go so much smoother, it's amazing how a few extra syllables change everything. Overall
I'm very proud of this redone cover, and I hope you guys think it's an improvement as well.
