So here is the test video which... I will admit I still really enjoy Super Mario RPG (even if I suck at timing defense attacks lol)
Plus, with the added new mechanics, it makes a game that at this point feels easy to me... become a challenge again which is something I always will like for games I really enjoy.
ALSO! Version 10 came out less than a month ago AND includes every iteration of version for the game... down to version 4 AND beta versions too. I don't recommend going to lower versions, I've seen at least one playthrough of an early version by "InterrupterJones" and remember it got REALLY difficult. (originally was supposed to be an extreme difficulty hack)
But yeah, I remember playing version 8 around 2017'ish AND beating it, AND some secret bosses... get really difficult even in "normal" mode. (although they can be rendered extremely easy with an "item" that was extremely nerfed in V9 lol it was quite the road to obtain though but infinite AND worth it)
Anyways, thank DarkKefka for this romhack as without him or their team this romhack would not be a thing, especially how far it's gotten now (I thought V9 was actually the final version until literally this week lol)

So... pretty much at this point Ive gotten to where I want to play the games more so than try to think about what the characters are saying to me in the game... however... the games are indeed getting rather tought to play... or some of them to say the least.

So this video, I felt like I accomplished A LOT here actually, in total by the end of this part, I made 4 more masks, while ALSO doing a good amount of exploring... including a bit of a special place I feel near the end of this video. (although I also manage to find out what is behind that one black portal that I showed in the previous part as well!)
While part 1 may have felt slow as, you dont start with much... part 2 felt like we were getting somewhere, but not quite there yet... however this part I unlock pretty much ALMOST every mask needed to get to a lot of locations now! (including one of the masks that had a colored name, which allows a boost for 1 AP... something I wont use unless I NEED to run from something obviously lol)
But next part... expect a much more deeper exploration, now that I have a lot of masks that lets us check out things that are behind areas that I couldnt access without them before...")

Considering I recorded this, when I should have probably just slept on the night this was recorded (as I went to bed with only less than 6 hours of sleep... and still am not 100% for recording or anything...) I will try to wrap this description up fast.
I decided to go through this chapter instead of play the rest of the game because like I said, this game was not really enjoyable with... hardly any break of speaking and hardly any choices. (you can even tell as I get closer near the end of this video)
Alone, sure this game is awesome. Reading out every line? Ugggggghhhh...
So, because of that, I just wanted to get this chapter out of the way and make way for the sequel which came out last week. (which I even show on this video)
But yeah, this was a lot longer than what I was expecting it to be originally... for a prologue chapter. I also didnt expect any searching or choices since this is a one choice chapter... but the places that were on the map that I didnt check do peak my interest...

So, this song is actually a remix of a song that was originally made for OneShot Aftermath, but actually never made it into even the beta of the game.
Note: as of editing this description (11/11/2023), the original version of this song will NOT be made public. Do not ask about about the author of the song, even if you do look for them, their Youtube channel has been completely wiped, so there is no reason to even look.
However, because the song went unused, and I REALLY liked how the music sounded (it gave me that same feeling Phosphor gave me, which is a very relaxing song to me too) that I commissioned █████ to remaster the song because the song, while it felt finished in some aspects, older versions of the song I liked the melody that it produced that later versions removed, and the commissioning of the song would also give me rights to use this song for my outros or really anything to do with my channel. (cause both █████ and Vixia who is in charge of OneShot Aftermath, gave me the ok to use this song)
So if they ever want me to remove it, I will feel obliged to do so, but knowing them, I am sure they are 100% ok with this upload, since we did discuss it in a sense months back. (Note: Will also add from future Luc, they probably wouldnt ask as I want to believe they do not want to even touch their old account to prove that its them wanting this to be removed)
I also wanted to wait until I got this background image from Teeterglance done too before posting it myself, because of it going kinda with the theme of it, being in a cavern and giving a Darker vibe!

So... this Chapter started out so fantastic... and while I died stupidly a few times... the final death was a low blow and pretty much turned my mood foul for the rest of the night (with horrible RNG luck while trying to record the 3rd Route... such as 40% hit rates hitting every single time at myself)
So... yeaaaah... and with Azura being in the castle without a weapon and able to roam around for who knows what reason... this chapter wasnt one of my favorites, thats for sure.
Also, as shown by the picture here... I need to try and grind a bit on the extra levels since... its impossible even for Luc with his level 13ness to kill on Chapter 9 by himself:
