Today I’m metal detecting a popular swim beach in Southern California during low tide. I typically don’t hunt out in the water due to waves and strong currents. But this beach is calm enough to get out there in the water, and I’m glad I did! It was a very productive day with lots of interesting targets and beautiful weather. The cherry on top was finding gold after a 4 month drought.
