This light switch has no batteries, no mains supply... and yet it still works.

We're using the Quinetic wireless kinetic switch with a door contact to automatically switch on a cupboard light. Every button press generates enough energy to transmit a wireless signal to the receiver, meaning no batteries, no charging and no wiring to the switch.
