A minimum import price proclamation signed August 6, 2026 puts a hard 38¢/watt floor under imported solar modules starting December 4 plus a 15% tariff. Imported panels have been selling well under that number, so once distributor markups stack on top of the floor, retail pricing could double or triple. I didn't wait to find out.
