A hamburger beat a Yu-Gi-Oh World Champion, and nobody was laughing.
Hungry Burger was the game's punchline for two decades - a Ritual Monster that is, genuinely, a cheeseburger, summoned by a spell called Hamburger Recipe. Then Konami printed Angry Burger, which eats any attack-position monster on the field and drags the real thing out of your deck. Steven "Trif" Trifunoski took it to YCS Lima in a sixty-card pile of dessert monsters, finished second seed, ate a World Champion in the semifinals, and won the whole thing.
