Just like you need to rest after exercise, your brain needs to rest so it process new information

Most of us live a lifestyle of excessive screen time, and rarely get the mental rest we need.

Lots of really successful writers use this technique. Neil Gaiman, Malcolm Gladwell and Stephen King, and Cal Newport of Deep Work, just to name a few.

If you want to take it a step further, spend deliberate time doing nothing. The Dutch have a word for this: 'Niksen'.

This will stop you from procrastinating and increase your productivity so you can get back to the hustle.
