🚐 The RV 10-Year Rule… We Experienced It Firsthand! 😳
Have you ever heard of the campground 10-year rule? Many RV resorts won’t allow motorhomes older than 10 years — and recently we actually ran into this rule ourselves!
At first, it felt a little surprising… but after seeing things from the campground’s perspective, we also started to understand why some parks enforce it.
🏕️ Here’s the reality:
✔️ Campgrounds want to keep the resort looking nice
✔️ They’re trying to maintain a certain standard and experience for guests
✔️ Sometimes older RVs just need a quick approval photo
The good news? Most places will still allow older rigs if they’re well maintained. Our coach may be older than 10 years, but she’s still looking good! 😉
