In small-town Texas, a struggling family finds hope and connection through an unexpected friendship.

Set against the wide-open landscapes of the Texas Hill Country, This Is Where We Live is a heartfelt, award-winning indie family drama about ordinary people facing difficult circumstances — and the unexpected relationships that help carry them through.

Diane Sutton is struggling to hold her family together. Her adult son August has cerebral palsy, her husband Bob is beginning to suffer from Alzheimer's disease, money is tight, and the physical and emotional demands of caring for everyone around her are taking their toll.

Then local handyman Noah Warden (Marc Menchaca) enters their lives. Diane hires Noah to help care for August, and what begins as a practical arrangement gradually becomes an unlikely friendship. As Noah and August grow closer, Noah becomes increasingly connected to the Sutton family — forcing him to confront his own troubled past, family relationships and the life he has been avoiding.
