Many people who have outdoor wood boiler stoves want big long heavy chunks of firewood for a longer burn time. That is good IF the wood is dry! But big wood takes longer to dry than smaller thinner pieces....so... you want to age/season/dry the wood longer..as in 2 -3 years! That is what this customer is doing...stocking up over a year in advance! Smart move!
