I'm not sure why the footage is a bit washed out. This video was taken with my iphone mini. When I imported it into premiere, it was very desaturated and dark, but when I exported it, it was brighter and different. Obviously, this meant that colour correcting this was a huge pain and close to impossible. I can't be bothered to look for a solution to this right now.
Anyway, I highly recommend checking out the taiko 3ds or ds version (DS screen resolution is quite small, dons and kas look a little funny on there LOL) if you are able to. If you have an XL device, the experience is extremely enjoyable. I never felt like I was really much like playing on a drum with phone/switch touchscreen modes. I don't even want to talk about how different gamepad button or keyboard modes are compared to drumming.
The 3DS is now considered retro and the second hand market price is starting to go upwards for it now. If your area is selling 3DS consoles for more than $200, you're getting scammed. Luckily, Japan is still selling these consoles for cheap. If you'd like to support me, you could use my buyee link to get a Japanese console (just go to any one of my main's buyee sponsored videos, you can find a link for 2000 yen off your first purchase when you sign up with it there). I got my console at $160USD from Yahoo Japan Auction (with buyee's service and international shipping costs).
And I absolutely do not recommend modding your 3DS console, when you homebrew it, you can play any region game and download any game you want! Even homebrewed games and ports! You can get any themes and even custom themes! You can reflash the Japanese region console to USA so everything will be in English (but the EShop and your NNID won't work) and the entire process takes a grueling 10 minutes with an SD card reader! Absolutely do not look up homebrew 3ds and go to that website! I do not approve of homebrewing and I do not want anyone to be homebrewing consoles or games that are no longer being sold!
